We’re making plans for the May 31st TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k Night Run/Walk, the first race of the 2025 Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown.

If you’re not familiar with the 3-race series, we’ve put together this quick Q&A, with details on the souvenirs, information about Gabe, and more.

We continue to be grateful to Ross Zimmerman, the Zimmerman family, and Julia Strange and TMC Health for enabling us to honor Gabe through this series.

We also continue to be grateful to all of you who have participated in the Triple Crown over the years — because of you over $40,000 has been raised for the BEYOND-Tucson Foundation and their ongoing wellness programming here in Southern Arizona.

Q: What is the Gabe Zimmerman Triple Crown?

A: The Triple Crown is a three-race series that honors the late Gabe Zimmerman by promoting year-round fitness, enabling people to train for and complete events that range from one mile to the half-marathon.

Registration is limited to 400 — there are about 84 remaining slots. You can see more details on the GZTC here.

Registration for the three-race series includes a commemorative medallion and a special souvenir shirt to be picked up at the TMC Meet Me Downtown event, as well as entry into these high profile Tucson-area races, including the race goodies for all three races:

May 31: TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k Night Run/Walk

September 7: TMC Tucson 10k and 5k

October 19: TMC A-Mountain Half-Marathon, 4-miler, and Family Mile

Current pricing for the 3-race series is $139, less than the cost of some half-marathons!
