Here’s our recent newsletter, with advice on creating a racing schedule for 2026.
Whether you’re just beginning your running journey, running to win, or anything in between, you can use Run Tucson’s local events as stepping stones to improve your performance and overall health.
Remember: you don’t need to be at your peak fitness to enter a race . . . and not every event has to be a huge destination experience. Local races are a great way to get in a workout, test your current fitness, run with friends, and support local non-profit organizations — plus our Run Tucson events are priced to enable you to do them throughout the year!
Below we offer some thoughts on how to approach your Winter and Spring racing plan, whether out on the desert trails or on the local roadways.
Southern Arizona: We’ve posted all sorts of regional events at the calendar on our webpage or you can follow the various calendar links at www.runsar.org to see more events in Southern Arizona. And check out the BEYOND event schedule for free walk/run events every week!
