We had a blast with everyone last weekend — thank you for being part of this fabulous event. We hope that you, too, had an enjoyable time down in the Las Cienegas grasslands of Southern Arizona. Here are a few quick items:
1) Results and Awards: Race results can be found at here. Our good friend Greg Wenneborg manages all the timing and can make any fixes, so if you see any mistakes let us know here and we’ll get ’em fixed up.
Congratulations to all the top finishers and age group winners in the 5k and 10k. If you did not pick up your overall or age group award, they have been brought to the Running Shop, so you can pick them up during business hours at any time through February.
2) Shirts and Medals: If you did not attend the multiple packet pickup opportunities, you can still pick up a remaining shirt on a first-come, first-served basis and the purchased souvenir medal. Visit the Running Shop at 3055 North Campbell Avenue, Tucson through the end of February. (At some point, we may have additional medals available but for now they are all spoken for.)
3) Thanks to your collective generosity, participants raised almost $2,000 for the Empire Ranch Foundation, while the race will provide over $1500 to the ERF as well. Farther below is a list of donors. Thanks to all of you for being part of this wonderful regional treasure.
