Hello Run Tucson friends! Well, we lost a few subscribers when we sent our recent notes about health care and public lands, but we’re happy that the rest of you seem to have stuck around.
For those in Tucson, here are a few things to do over the coming weeks:
Friday, July 11: Happy Hour Hobble by the Southern Arizona Roadrunners

- Time: Sign in at 5:30 PM | Raffle at 6:00 PM | Run at 6:05 PM
- Hobblers will get $1 off first draft drink.

Friday, July 25: Tucson’s 250th Birthday Murals Unveiling Celebration
- Walk, jog, or simply hang out. Meet the artists, snag a drink, and enjoy some social time with cool folks who love art, fitness, and Downtown. Thanks to Run Tucson sponsors Downtown Tucson Partnership and Rio Nuevo.

Ongoing Monday Nights: Free Walk/Run at Meet Me Monday’s by BEYOND
- Place: MSA Annex/Westbound, 267 S. Avenida del Convento
- Time: Every Monday 5:15pm check-in
- Guided walks leave at 5:30pm

Ongoing Tuesday Nights through July 22nd: Summer Track and Field Meets, presented by the City of Tucson at Drachman Stadium
- Place: Drachman Stadium, 501 S. Plumer Ave.
- Time: Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.; Field events begin at 6:30 p.m., Running races begin at 7 p.m.
- Cost: $3/youth (17 years and younger); $4/adults (18 years and older)
