TMC Arizona Distance Classic Fundraising

We at SAR are honored to use the popular running and walking event, the TMC Arizona Distance Classic, to raise funds and raise awareness for one of our region’s longest-serving charities, St Luke’s Home.

For more than 100 years, St Luke’s Home has been a non-profit organization that provides high-quality levels of service and care for its community members who may have limited financial means.

St Luke’s Home Residents:

1. Are 55 years of age or older.
2. Can intervene on their own behalf in a crisis.
3. Are cognitively independent and able to participate in care provided.
4. Can move about their apartments and the community independently (may have an assistive device, wheelchair, walker and/or cane, but must be able to transfer and ambulate independently). No motorized wheelchairs or scooters allowed in the community.
5. Rent is on a sliding scale depending on income.

St Luke’s Home Services include:

• Supervisory and personal levels of care
• Three nutritious meals daily and snacks
• Medication administration and assistance with medications
• 24-hour awake certified caregivers
• Weekly housekeeping service
• Scheduled transportation for shopping
• Robust activity programming

SAR has allocated 33% of post-expense revenue to St Luke’s and you can make an individual donation when you register for the race here.
