TMC Get Moving Tucson Half-Marathon, 5K and FitKidz Mile
Oct 27, 2019
Normally the TMC Get Moving Tucson Half-Marathon is staged in Downtown Tucson with three events to choose from and live music, a vendor expo, children’s activities, jumping castle, food trucks and more.
Unfortunately, the 2020 edition is now a virtual event. You can do the Virtual Cox Charities One Mile, the Virtual Tucson Lifestyle 5k, or the Virtual TMC Half Marathon. You can walk or run and go fast or go slow — it’s up to you.
Running Shop SAR Grand Prix: This virtual event will count towards the SAR membership Running Shop Grand Prix. See details here: http://azroadrunners.org/races/detail/grand_prix
Goodie Pick Up in Tucson, following safe, social-distanced protocols you can snag your coaster medallion, long-sleeve shirt, and race number on race weekend:

Suggested Routes: In our recent race email, we provide a handful of suggestions for safe locations to do 13.1 miles, 5k, or a one-mile. We’re grateful to those who suggested routes via our recent survey. For safety reasons, we are NOT suggesting routes that include city or county roadways. Indeed, please note that we do NOT encourage you to do the course we use for the race. On traditional race weekends, those urban streets are closed, with barricading, police presence, and first-responders on hand. But that won’t be the case in 2020, so for public safety we encourage you to avoid street running and stay to safer locations.
Questions? Send ’em to race director Randy Accetta at firstname.lastname@example.org.
