Achilles International

The Tucson chapter of Achilles International transforms the lives of people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. Since 1983, Achilles International has empowered over 150,000 athletes of all ages and ability levels to participate in endurance events around the globe.

Come Run

ComeRun (Together) has been meeting since 2005 every Saturday morning at various locations around town. Runs range from 6-20 miles depending on what distances people are training for.


520 Running and Riding

This is a running and riding cooperative offering daily group runs and rides, plus Wednesday track workouts. Group runs meet all around Tucson, Oro Valley and surrounding areas.

Fleet Feet Training Groups

Meets: Tuesdays at 6 pm & Saturdays at 5 am.

Fleet Feet Training offers weekly run/walk workouts, strength and conditioning videos, weekly emails and videos from coaches,

social media groups to share our success, and

Meet Me at Maynards

BEYOND-Tucson hosts free social walks and runs on Mondays at Maynards and Wednesdays at St. Phillips Plaza. Join 300+ runners and walkers for a free 2-4 mile jaunt around Downtown Tucson, every Monday night 5:30 pm. With music, and discounts to local restaurants, drawings for goodies, and more.

Meet Me Wednesdays

Free Wednesday night walk/run at St. Phillip’s Plaza (River and Campbell, on the Rillito River Path). The schedule calls for a 3+ mile run or walk, but you can add mileage as you wish. With music, and discounts to local restaurants, drawings for goodies, and more.

Southwest Endurance (SWET)


SWET running and power-walking groups and training programs support athletes of all experience, fitness levels and distances. Our passion is helping new and aspiring runners and walkers learn to use the work/walk strategy, and training novice through intermediate athletes to that next distance goal.

Team Hoyt

Share the joy of racing with people with special needs. Team Hoyt Arizona is a nonprofit volunteer organization in Southern Arizona. People with special needs join for free and with the help of our volunteers, we race together!

Trail Sisters Tucson

Trail Sisters Tucson is a group created to extend the mission at the local level. We hope to build a strong community of women trail runners of all levels and abilities.

Tucson Trail Runners

Tucson Trail Runners (TTR) is a trail/ultra running group that focuses on (mostly) long-distance trail runs on public lands in all five mountain ranges surrounding Tucson, Arizona. The average run distance is 15 to 20+ miles, although shorter route options are often available. TTR meets almost weekly on Sundays from September through the end of May.

Women of Sonoran

We are a trail running group of over 450 members. We run trails at night (on weekdays) and run longer more adventurous runs on the weekends. We started hosting a free trail race once a month and we also host a yearly women’s trail running and camping retreat. We have some fall weekend events coming up that will include running and yoga.

The Workout Group

Run Tucson’s WOG is starting year 26 of Tuesday speed workouts & Thursday stamina sessions. Now offering morning workouts at 5:30 AM, as well as the evening workouts at 6:00 PM. After 25 years at Reid Park, our T/TH evening sessions will now meet at the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club (take Country Club all the way to the north end!). Drop-ins are welcome.

Perhaps online or individual coaching would be a good fit. We know a boatload of RRCA-certified online coaches around the world and we can find the right coach for you!

Tia works with 20 athletes from around the country and can help you find the right fit.

As a mom with a couple of 2:48 marathons under her belt, her specialties include: mother runners and busy women; anyone who wants to qualify for Boston; and speedsters who want to go 3-hours and faster.
